Raised in Northern California, "Bay area." Penelope came from a family of dancers. Her mother was a ballerina for 16 years and was involved as a choreographer for a Filipino folk dance troupe. This influenced her love for dance and motivated her to move to Los Angeles to become a professional dancer in 2002. Since then she has performed with Raven Simon, Mariah Carey, Missy Elliot and more. She has toured with artist such as Britney Spears, Paulina Rubio, Toni Braxton and Miley Cyrus.
